WELCOME TO THE USHER / GREETER PORTAL!
Firstly, thank you for serving our Renaissance Family with all that you do! We appreciate you and know that everyone feels more at home because of what you all do.
This is a temporary automation to help things go smoothly and efficiently while we transition a new office manager into their role to help coordinate those who serve to make our services full of God’s glory!
Quick reminder of what an usher and/or greeter will do to help the service run smoothly:
PRE-SERVICE: Arrival time: 8:30-9:00AM
Put the signs out at the street entrance point, doorway (109), and parking lot.
Greet & welcome with a smile! Give new comers a Welcome (connect) card.
DURING SERVICE: 10AM - End
Podium: please put the podium on the stage after worship. One of the ushers/greeters will be assigned for this job per week.
Communion Sundays (First Sunday of month): please pass out communion cups.
Tithes & Offerings: please pass around envelopes & pens, and collect offerings. Please pass these baskets to Pastor Elyanna or to Rudy Castro.
Ministry time: please make sure that if there is ministry time taking place, we will need the ushers to CATCH and COVER people who may fall under the presence of the Lord during this time.
